Coming Soon: Dedicated Policy Report on the Future of Green Entrepreneurship in Fashion

As sustainability continues to redefine the fashion and textiles industry, the Fashion Earth Alliance – Vocational Excellence and Enterprise (FEA-VEE) project is preparing a dedicated new policy report: Reforms Supporting Green Entrepreneurship in the Fashion/Textiles Industries. This upcoming publication, scheduled for release between May and June 2025, aims to guide policymakers and industry leaders in fostering a greener, more sustainable business environment.

The global fashion and textiles industry is undergoing a transformative shift towards sustainability. With rising consumer demand for eco-friendly products, technological advancements in circular economy solutions, and increasing regulatory pressures, green entrepreneurship is no longer an option—it’s a necessity.

The report will provide an in-depth analysis of the challenges and opportunities in green entrepreneurship, offering insights into:

  • the environmental impact of fashion and textiles,
  • social and ethical concerns within the industry,
  • economic and market trends supporting sustainable business models.

We chose a collaborative, data-driven approach, collecting and summarizing inputs from all project countries: Bulgaria, Greece, Germany, Romania, Spain, and Sweden.

The policy report is part of Work Package 6 (WP6) of the FEA-VEE project, which focuses on policy reform to support sustainable initiatives in fashion. Developed through extensive research and collaboration among leading European organizations, the report follows a structured methodology:

  • Analysis of project results from previous reports on labor market skills and sustainability
  • Synthesis of country-specific findings from project`s countries
  • Recommendations to policymakers and stakeholders

What’s Next?

Once published, the report will be widely disseminated to policymakers, industry leaders, and academic institutions, ensuring its findings contribute to shaping a more sustainable future for fashion. Each country involved will compile a list of key stakeholders to maximize impact and drive meaningful policy changes.

Stay tuned for more updates on the release of this report! If you are an industry professional, policymaker, or entrepreneur interested in green fashion, this publication will be an essential resource for navigating the future of sustainable business.
