Cluj-Napoca, Romania \u2014 September 11\u201314, 2025<\/strong><\/p>

The Transilvania Fashion Festival<\/strong> once again turned Cluj-Napoca into a meeting place for creativity, design and innovation. Alongside the festival, the Transilvania Fashion Conferences<\/strong> brought together representatives from universities, designers and organizations from around the world to exchange ideas about the future of fashion, education and sustainability.<\/p>

Education and Collaboration Without Borders<\/strong><\/p>

On Saturday, September 13<\/strong>, the festival hosted a panel dedicated to the academic programs of universities taking part in this year\u2019s edition. Participants had the chance to present their educational offers, share their experiences and discuss future partnerships.
Among those present were:<\/p>

Marija Pe\u0161i\u0107 \u2013 University of Novi Sad, Serbia;
Aidarkhan Kaliev \u2013 Fashion Academy of Taraz, Kazakhstan;
Antoaneta \u021aic\u0103 \u2013 UNARTE, Romania;
Alina Tocarciuc \u2013 UTM, Republic of Moldova;
Andrada Negru \u2013 UV Timi\u0219oara, Romania;
Mihai Zhang \u2013 Zhejiang Fashion Institute of Technology, China;
Alexander Britt \u2013 HTW Berlin, Germany.<\/p>

During this session, Anca B\u0103lan<\/strong> (Romanian Fashion Council) presented FEA-VEE (Fashion Earth Alliance)<\/strong> \u2013 connecting universities and professionals from six European countries, focused on sustainability, policy reform and training for the fashion and textile industries.<\/p>

The Silk Road: A Bridge Between Continents<\/strong><\/p>

The academic discussions continued with the launch of the project \u201cSilk Road \u2013 History, Education & Fashion\u201d<\/strong>, a cultural and educational collaboration that brings together institutions and professionals from Europe, Asia and Africa<\/strong>. The project aims to strengthen ties between continents and promote responsible growth within the global fashion industry.<\/p>

Fashion for All \u2013 Inclusion and Innovation<\/strong><\/p>

The series of conferences concluded on Sunday, September 14<\/strong>, with the workshop \u201cFashion for All: Inclusive, Accessible, Relevant \u2013 SCRIPOR, The Tactile Color Code.\u201d<\/strong>
The event, led by Tudor P. Scripor<\/strong> (inventor of the Scripor Alphabet), together with Anca B\u0103lan<\/strong> (Romanian Fashion Council) and PhD Zaki A. Morsy<\/strong> (Ain Alkafeef Association for the Blind), presented an extraordinary Romanian innovation: the tactile color code that allows blind people to recognize colors through touch.<\/p>

\u201cThrough this workshop, we\u2019re not just discussing clothes or trends \u2014 we\u2019re reshaping the way we understand fashion. The Scripor Alphabet gives color a tactile dimension, making fashion something that everyone can experience,\u201d said Tudor Scripor.<\/p>

The project encourages the industry to rethink its role \u2014 to become more inclusive, more relevant and truly connected to the real needs of people.
